What follows are more data recovered from the grand strategium. By this point the Patriot Guard was overwhelmed with calls for aid. While the extent of the conspiracy against Durance was not fully clear by this point, Marshal-General Feyn had perhaps the clearest view of what was happening. His failure to act decisively is self-evident.

Exhibit 381 consists of an annotated map of Talionis Prefecture after the uprising's first major acts of sabotage and terrorism. Annotations are transcribed below, for the sake of clarity.

I am authorizing the deployment of Patriot Guard infantry and light armor companies to support Civil Security in Talionis Prefecture. While the unrest elsewhere on Durance appears to stem from the usual pain points - work conditions, health care, potable water - the violence in Talionis speaks of singular premeditation.

To make matters worse, Durance now faces a xenos incursion. Intelligence from the Cadian 1080th, corroborated by first-hand accounts and pict data, confirms the presence of witchbreed raiders. I am told Naval deep scans show no evidence of corsair vessels. It is unclear how long they have been here, but their emergence and the unrest in Talionis must be connected.

MAP NOTES
A. In one night, saboteurs destroyed several junctions and nearly all sea bridges comprising the Via Talionis, hobbling manufacturing chains throughout the prefecture. One bridge remains, perhaps from a misguided belief that Grenika's rioters can press east into Torunhive.

B. Reports of alpha-class psionic manifestations at the Strada Primara in District 71 of Torunhive. A clash between the witchbreed xenos and 9-1 BYRGENWERTH destroyed most of the Strada. Strategium has repeatedly requested after-action reports from the Machine Cult, to no avail. Dowsing rites from our sanctioned support are slow to yield answers about our foe's capabilities.

FORTUL FRONTIERA DECEBAL CAMPUS IGNIS LINA DEFENSIVA 549.019.M42 Decebal  marked the end of human control of Durance. Built centuries ago, during the initial ork invasion, Decebal  started as a simple improvised defensive position, little more than a collection of hastily assembled barricades and shallow trenches.
